Lately I've found myself drawn to pinning pretty letterpress cards, searching Etsy for creative art prints for my current bedroom renovation, and following some wonderfully inspiring blogs. Do you know what all these have in common? 

Paper!

I have always loved sending (and receiving, obvi) snail mail. And I've already talked about my affinity for paper planners. I feel like now more than ever, there are some amazing options in the paper goods department. 

So this leads me to the subject of this post: Have you heard about OliveBox yet? It's a monthly subscription service (similar to the way popular box) that is specifically tailored to paper lovers. 

Who likes paper? Meeeee. It's a tiny baby of a company that just launched September 17th, but looking at their October box, I'm thinking it's going to be around for the long run.

I was doing my daily pre-lunch pinning yesterday and stumbled upon the cutest chevron dress. Afraid it was going to be way out of my budget given its covetableness factor, I clicked on the original link and was brought to a site I can only describe to you as broke-shopaholic-twenty-something mecca. The name: Sosie.

i feel smart

Hey heyyyy. This is going to be a short little bit of a post but I just wanted to let you all know I feel like I finally became a semi-legit blogger. See those cute little icons over there?

Me and my non-HTML savvy brain did that. And the links actually work! Obviously I can't take all of the credit for those baby quatrefoils/links/connections-to-my-life. you look pinteresty today

Possibly the best compliment I've ever received came from a co-worker today. In order to truly appreciate what I'm about to tell you, I think you need a little insight to my corporate life:

1. I work with men ages 27-55 90% of the time. Some Fridays a female consultant or two will drop in.

2. Our lunch conversations mainly involve sports (fine by me) or politics (zzzz.....).

3. Dress code is business casual. Emphasis on the casual.

So when my 29 year-old co-worker came up to me at the coffee station and said "you've looked very Pinteresty this week", I laughed, then thanked him, then glowed (still glowing). How cute is that? His wife has just started using Pinterest and was showing him her favorite style looks last night.
