typical me

Tuesday, January 8, 2013

Yesterday's post may have been a bit of foreshadowing on my part.
Remember when I mentioned I took a crazy small amount of pictures in December?
That's all about to change in 2013.
I made a pretty major move in checking off new year's resolution number six this past week.

yayyyyyyyy.
Typical me, start with the most expensive and exciting of resolutions and work my way up (or down?) from there.

Now I just need to learn how to use this thing.

PS: I haven't forgotten about my bedroom reno, although I'm sure 95% of you guys have. That pretty white duvet the camera is on is a big part of it, but I need to set up a lamp, and have my suitcase unpacked for two weeks straight before sharing any more deets. So that should be... let's see... in March.

  1. Saving up for a DSLR is on my list as well this year. Which one did you end up getting? Can't wait to hear how you like it!

    1. This is the Canon EOS Rebel t3, with an additional 75-300mm lens. I actually got it off eBay, which ended up saving me over $200! It was a risky move, but the camera is working great and I couldn't pass up the savings.

where is your white duvet from, if you don't mind me asking? i'm on the search for one now and it's kind of a nightmare.

    1. It's actually the pintuck duvet from West Elm. I was getting ready to push the purchase button on the Zara Home site minutes after publishing the post about white duvets when it became sold out! I was devastated at the time, but I'm happier with the pintuck look, and it was cheaper. :)
